The hash tag for the looming protest is declared Day Of Rage. The rage of the masses, let us be clear is not against Tinubu; but he, like those before him is simply unfortunate to be the President at this very challenging time, had anyone other than he had won the last election, the challenges would not have been significantly different. The issues are structural! The first is against a bad constitution, consequent upon which governance can only be bad. That is our experience since 1966!Ordinary electricity problems that many organisations of local origin have solved are still lingering. To wait is to die without tasting the goodness of this land.The people can’t wait again! The easiest problem to find a solution to in Nigeria is hunger given the spread of our fertile arable land. How can one of the most fertile nations in the world house one of the highest demographics of hungry people in the world? It is no longer acceptable!On energy, the potential is enormous. The gas we have flared could have given the whole of Africa power. Our sunshine is enough to power Nigeria and the whole of Europe. How do we explain the subsidy scam, it’s removal and the greater scam associated with it?Successive administrations have left us stranded without solving problems they promised to when they get into power. That is the story since 1960.Tinubu has been in the saddle for over a year and there are no signs of any progress aside the propaganda via statistics that we read in the news which are completely opposite of our reality.I will rather advise that we break it down and start from the scratch. Let every Nigerian choose his/her protest. If you are hungry, let your placard read; Tinubu, end hunger in Nigeria! Mine will read; Revert to the 1963 constitution, amend and restructure Nigeria! There is no point postponing the evil when it is lesser only for it to become greater. Enough they say is enough!
